WHY WE BUILT BLEEP+

Learning should
carry you further.

An exam answer matters. So does knowing what it means for the person in front of you, and what you might need to do next.

OUR PURPOSE

Help medical students build the knowledge to pass their exams and the confidence to keep learning as they enter clinical practice.

From med school to on call.

Education that stays with you.

Bleep+ grew out of years spent researching, learning and teaching. Its founder is a practising doctor with a medical degree, a master’s in research, a PhD in biomedical and neuroscience research, and postdoctoral experience in biomedical science and psychiatric genetics.

That background shaped a conviction: high quality medical education should be accessible, clear and useful beyond the next exam. Students deserve to understand the answer, remember it, and see how the same knowledge may matter in clinical work.

One question.
A wider understanding.

01

Choose the best answer

Practise the reasoning needed for medical school and the UKMLA.

02

Understand why

Learn from the correct answer, the alternatives and the evidence behind them.

03

See what follows

Connect the knowledge to the next decision, a ward action or a linked Bleep On Call pathway when relevant.

Built together.
Reviewed carefully.

The question bank and its clinical teaching are developed with peers and clinical colleagues, including consultants and senior registrars. That mix of research, education and frontline experience helps us ask better questions and make the follow up useful.

Draft questions go through clinical review before learner release. Reviewer feedback can lead to a revised version, stronger teaching or a question being held back. We also welcome corrections after release.
